These terms apply when you buy from baltland.com. Please read them together with our Refund policy, Shipping policy, Privacy policy and 2-year guarantee.

1. Who we are

baltland.com is run by Baltland Group SIA, registration no. 40203509511, VAT no. LV40203509511, Turaidas iela 6, Rīga, LV-1039, Latvia. Email: info@baltland.com. "We" and "us" in these terms means Baltland Group SIA.

2. Our socks and prices

We describe and photograph our socks as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on different screens.

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. Offers such as 3 for 2 are applied automatically in the cart. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already placed.

3. How an order works

When you place an order, you offer to buy the socks in your cart. The contract between us is made when we send you the order confirmation email. You can order in English or Latvian.

If we can't fulfil an order — for example, a colour sold out at the same moment, or a price was shown wrongly because of an obvious error — we'll tell you and refund everything you paid.

4. Personal use

Our shop is for personal purchases. We may decline orders that look like they're for resale. Shops and businesses interested in selling Baltland can write to info@baltland.com.

5. Payment

You pay when you place your order, using one of the methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see your full card details.

6. Delivery

We deliver to DPD pick-up points in the countries listed in our Shipping policy, which also sets out costs and delivery times. The socks are your responsibility from the moment you, or someone you name, collects the parcel.

7. Returns and your right of withdrawal

You can return socks within 30 days of delivery. This includes your legal right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. Socks that have been put on, worn or washed can't be resold, so we can't refund them. Our Refund policy explains how returns and refunds work and includes a withdrawal form.

8. Faulty socks — your legal rights

Under Latvian and EU law, the socks must match their description and be fit for normal use. If they don't, you can claim a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund within 2 years of delivery. Please tell us as soon as you notice a problem.

9. Our 2-year guarantee

On top of your legal rights, every pair bought on baltland.com comes with our 2-year guarantee: if a pair wears through from normal use, we replace it. The guarantee page explains what's covered and how to claim. The guarantee is in addition to your legal rights and never limits them.

10. Reviews and what you send us

Reviews must describe your own experience and must not be offensive or unlawful. Reviews marked "Verified buyer" come from customers who bought on baltland.com. We publish negative reviews as well as positive ones and don't edit what customers write, but we may decline reviews that break these rules.

By sending us a review, photo or other content, you allow us to show it on our website and social media, with your first name and initial.

11. Our designs and content

Our patterns, photos, texts and logo belong to Baltland Group SIA. Please don't copy or use them without our written permission.

12. Liability

If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of it. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses, as our socks are sold for personal use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your legal rights as a consumer.

13. Your personal data

We use your personal data as described in our Privacy policy.

14. Questions and complaints

If something isn't right, write to info@baltland.com and we'll do our best to sort it out quickly.

If we can't agree, you can contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs, www.ptac.gov.lv), which also runs a consumer dispute resolution body. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre (www.ecc.lv) can help with cross-border disputes.

15. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
