We don't make socks that fall apart. Every pair from Baltland is crafted in Latvia using premium German merino yarn and OEKO-TEX certified materials. We stand behind that quality with a simple promise: if your socks fail within two years, we'll replace them.
How It Works
1. Take photos
Snap clear photos showing:
- The issue (holes, worn areas, seam failures, etc.)
- Our brand visible on the sock (so we can verify it's a Baltland product)
Multiple angles help us process your claim faster.
2. Email us
Send your photos to:
- guarantee@baltland.com, OR
- Reply to your original order confirmation email
Include your order number in the message.
3. We review your claim
We'll check your photos (usually within 1-2 business days) and confirm coverage.
4. Get your replacement code
We'll email you a digital code equivalent to what you originally paid. Use it to order the same socks or try a different style—your choice.
5. Place your order
Visit baltland.com, add your socks to cart, and apply your code at checkout. Shipping included.
What's Covered
We'll replace socks that experience any manufacturing or material defect, including:
- Holes or tears from normal wear
- Worn cushioning that loses its comfort
- Elastic failure in the cuff or arch support
- Seam issues or construction defects
- Premature thinning or material breakdown
- Any other defect that shouldn't happen to quality socks
If something goes wrong with the sock itself during normal use, we've got you covered.
What's Not Covered
We can't replace socks that are:
- Lost or stolen (check behind the dryer first!)
- Modified or altered (custom dye jobs, cutting, etc.)
- Damaged by pilling (this depends on your shoes and is considered normal wear)
- Damaged by improper care (bleach, high heat drying, ignoring care instructions)
- Damaged by accidents (lawnmowers, campfires, sharp objects)
- Subject to pet damage (even if your dog has excellent taste)
Important Details
Warranty effective date: This guarantee applies to all purchases made from September 1st, 2025 onward.
Online store only: For now, this warranty covers socks purchased directly from baltland.com. If you bought your socks elsewhere, please contact that retailer about their return policy.
Proof of purchase required: We need your order number to verify your purchase date and process your claim.
One replacement per pair: Each pair of socks is covered once under this warranty.

Because we control the entire process. We source quality merino wool yarn from Germany, manufacture in Latvia with skilled craftspeople, and certify everything through OEKO-TEX standards. When you know your product is built right, standing behind it is easy.
Our socks are designed for years of use, not months. If they don't deliver on that promise, we want to make it right.
Keep Your Warranty Valid
Proper care extends the life of your socks and keeps your warranty coverage active:
✓ Machine wash cold or warm (30°C maximum)
✓ Hang to dry (hang drying is best)
✓ Turn inside out to preserve colors
✓ Never use bleach or fabric softener
✓ Skip the iron and dry cleaner

How long does the claim process take?
Usually 1-2 business days for review, then we email your replacement code immediately.
Can I choose a different color or style?
Yes! Your code value equals what you paid, so you can pick any socks up to that amount.
Do I need to return the damaged socks?
Nope. Keep them, recycle them, or repurpose them. We trust you.
What if I can't find my order number?
Check your email inbox for "Baltland Order Confirmation" or contact us at guarantee@baltland.com—we can look it up with your email address and approximate purchase date.
What if I bought them as a gift?
No problem. The warranty follows the socks, not the purchaser. The gift recipient can make a claim with the order number or proof of purchase.
My socks are pilling—is that covered?
Pilling is typically caused by friction with your shoes and is considered normal wear, not a defect. However, if you're experiencing excessive pilling that seems unusual, send us photos and we'll take a look.
I lost one sock from the pair—can I get a replacement?
Unfortunately, lost socks aren't covered under warranty. We recommend designating a "sock drawer" to keep pairs together!
What if the issue develops after 2 years?
The warranty period is 2 years from purchase date. After that, the socks are on their own—though with proper care, they should still be going strong.
